UofL Health – West Tower Expansion

WEHR Constructors was the construction manager of the University of Louisville Hospital (UL Health) West Patient Tower, a $150+ million, 193,000 square foot commercial healthcare construction project in downtown Louisville, Kentucky.

The UofL Health West Tower expansion adds critical patient care capacity to one of the region's largest hospital systems, featuring a striking glass curtain wall exterior and a design built to serve Louisville for decades to come. This facility boasts 98 new patient beds, 24 new observation beds, 6 new operating rooms, new "front-door" ambulatory and visitor entrance, and 325 new jobs created.

From structural steel to a fully completed 7-story healthcare facility, has been named Louisville Business First's Commercial Real Estate Project of the Year (2026).
