University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center – Multiple Projects

Wehr Constructors, Inc. was the Construction Manager of multiple projects at the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center in Lexington, KY. These projects encompassed a renovation of multiple areas in multiple buildings of the University of Kentucky’s Health Care Facilities.

Projects included a new PET/CT Suite, renovated infusion areas, improved ambulatory/clinical services, updated exam rooms and offices as well as the install of a modular Pharmacy Clean Room. In addition, the Pavilion H Infusion suite, Whitney Hendrix first and second floors, Ben Roach building first and second floors, and lastly the Pavilion H Specialty Pharmacy. T

This work will allow for new exam rooms, treatment/procedure room, enhanced patient and staff circulation, and improved registration areas. Upgrades to the existing HVAC brought it to current UK standards by installing a new air handling unit.
