University of Kentucky Jacobs Science Building

The University of Kentucky Jacobs Science Building is a four-story 34,500 sq. ft. instructional center that houses chemistry and biology classrooms and teaching labs as well as office space for the Department of Chemistry and the College of Arts & Sciences Business Center.

The project includes the fit-up of a new 6,700 sq ft. penthouse addition that will house two new Air Handling Units and new mechanical equipment that will serve the 3rd floor’s new laboratories and second-floor new classrooms. Renovations of the first, second, and third floor classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and meeting/lounge areas that include new finishes through the fit-up and addition.
