Medical Center of Bowling Green

Wehr Constructors provided construction management, including pre-construction services for the vertical expansion at the Medical Center at Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The project includes the addition of two new floors totaling 49,000 sq. ft. on the existing hospital with some minor renovation in the existing building below. A new emergency egress stairwell was also required.

The new third floor included 24 beds with a new orthopedic unit and physical therapy area. Fourth floor construction includes 24 beds and a new intermediate surgical care unit with a specialized recovery area. Wehr Constructors has been developing various projects with the Medical Center at Bowling Green since 1982.
