Meet The Team

DJ earned his BS in Construction Management from Eastern Kentucky University and is currently pursuing an MBA at Indiana Wesleyan. DJ has been a member of the Wehr Constructors team for close to 20 years and has experience in all aspects of construction. DJ has multiple years of religious and healthcare experience while being certified in Construction Management through the Construction Management Association of America and is a Certified Hospital Contractor through the Kentucky Society of Healthcare Engineers (KSHE).

From work in the field, to estimating and project management, DJ is Chief Operations Officer and oversees corporate operations nationwide. DJ is a part of the 3rd generation of the Berry family at Wehr and leads a group of project managers and construction professionals to carry out the mission of Wehr Constructors.

DJ is a lifelong resident of LaGrange, KY where he lives with his five children, and wife Melanie. DJ loves being outdoors in his spare time and particularly enjoys golfing, hunting and camping. From the time he was a little boy, DJ has always wanted to work at Wehr with his family and loves being a part of the family business.
