Project Description

Wehr Constructors provided pre-construction and construction management services for this 134,000 square foot replacement facility in Winchester, KY. The single-story 79-bed facility included four operating rooms, an emergency department, a full-service radiology department, women’s center, transitional care unit, lab, pharmacy and dietary facilities. The facility was built to readily add two additional operating rooms, four labor/delivery/recovery rooms, and two post-partum rooms. Clark Regional is the first healthcare facility in Kentucky to fully utilize geothermal heating and cooling systems.

Wehr Constructors also provided pre-construction and construction management services on the adjacent 45,000 square foot, three-story medical office building. The building includes spaces for physical therapy, lab draw, orthopedic services and medical office space.
