Project Description
Wehr Constructors’ construction of Waterfront Park Place marked the first high rise condominium project on the Louisville waterfront, affording it a panoramic view of the Ohio River and Southern Indiana. The 23-story, high rise contains 60 luxury condominium units, beautiful commons areas, more than 6,000 sq. ft. of retail space and a 150 space parking garage.This brick and glass clad steel structure reaches over 300 ft. in the air, making a bold statement on the Louisville skyline.
Project Unique Characteristics
- Built on 600 plus cast-in-place concrete piles that extend sixty feet into the sandy Louisville soil
- Building’s structural skeleton composed of 1,480 tons of steel and 11,144 cubic yards of concrete; clad with over 60,000 square feet of green glass and 230,000 red utility size brick
