Project Description

Construction consisted of the 15-story, 225,000 sq. ft. Rudd Heart & Lung Center, as well as a 4-story bridge (Wheeler Connector) over an active roadway.  Additionally, Wehr constructed a 1-story post op recovery bridge into the adjacent Outpatient Care Center over this functioning roadway.  The facility included a full basement; 9 OR suites; heart procedure programs, including pre & post op support; cath labs; heart research institute suites; tenant fit-up floors; corporate offices and a conference center.
