Mr. Berry has over 50 years experience in estimating and management in General Construction.  He oversaw and coordinated all projects for both the Louisville and Florida area. With his knowledge and leadership, Mr. Berry led this company into the top 400 General Contractors in the United States, as well as one of the top 100 Construction Management Firms.

Currently Wehr’s CEO, Dale Berry, is an owner, member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. Dale began his career in the construction industry at Wehr in 1975, and spent six years as a laborer, surveyor and superintendent.  For the next sixteen years he served as a Project Manager with full responsibility for project locations ranging between Chicago, Illinois and Miami, Florida. As CEO, Dale oversees the company’s daily operations, while also acting as Principal in Charge, on a number of healthcare, worship and commercial projects.

 Claude A. Berry, III, usually referred to as “Skip”, has been with Wehr Constructors, Inc. since 1968.  He completed his education at the University of Kentucky, where he received his degree in engineering.  Today, Skip holds the position of Chairman of the Board and President of the Louisville Division and Marketing. With more than 40 years of experience, he is very well versed in all phases of construction, including: estimating, bid packages, cash flow, budget analysis, preparation of monthly profitability estimates and manpower projections, quality control, scheduling, project development and contract analysis and execution.

Edward Berry has a BS degree in Civil Engineering and 30+ years experience in a multitude of healthcare projects.  He is a Professional Engineer, a Land Surveyor and certified LEED Green Associate and is a Licensed General Contractor in Florida. He has been engaged in all phases of “fast-track” construction, construction management and design/build.  Often working as Principal in Charge, he is responsible for ensuring that Wehr’s clients’ needs are met from the inception of projects through completion and beyond.

John F. Gaver, Executive Vice President of Wehr Constructors

John Gaver began his career with Wehr Constructors in 1988 as Director of Florida Operations.  In 1995 he was promoted to Vice President and subsequently elected to the Board of Directors of Wehr. He has since been promoted to Executive Vice President.

John oversees the Florida office and is well versed in costs analysis, cash flow, systems budget analysis, manpower projections, quality control, scheduling, and estimating.

Kelly Holcomb, Senior Vice President of Wehr ConstructorsKelly Holcomb,

Project Manager, and in 2004 his self-motivation and focused work ethics earned his promotion to Senior Project Manager.  He obtained his degree in Architectural Design and began working in the Construction Management Department for Alliant Health Systems.  While at Alliant, he was responsible for numerous renovations and code upgrades.  Mr. Holcomb is extremely knowledgeable in infection control process, cost accounting, estimating, as well as supervision and management of subcontractors.   His experience in cost containment, scheduling and field activities helps in bringing his projects in on time and within budget.

Shawn Woosley joined Wehr Constructors in 2004 as the Chief Financial Officer and was promoted 3 years later to Vice President of Finance at which time he joined the Board of Directors. He holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Louisville, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He has 17 years of accounting experience and is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
