HR Intern

Summary Overview 

Wehr is looking for a Human Resources Intern with a strong work ethic who enjoys a challenging, fast-paced, and fun environment. As we continue to improve our processes, we are looking for someone who is willing to take on a variety of projects.

The HR Intern will be assisting in the design, coordination, and administration of human resources projects and processes.  Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Intern is primarily responsible for assisting in the design and execution of various policies and procedures and programs related to Recruiting and Development, Onboarding, Performance Management and the Performance Review Process, and general human resource tasks as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Psychology/Human Resources major preferred.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills a must.
  • Advanced Microsoft skills required.
  • Excellent communication (written, oral, interpersonal) and organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.

Ability to work a full year with Wehr preferred (Starting January 2019)

Estimator

Summary Overview 

The Estimator prepares estimates from blueprints, specifications, and addendums for new construction, additions, and renovation projects. Working with the Senior Estimator, Chief Estimator and Bid Captains, the Estimator creates cost estimates and assists with the schedule of the assigned divisions.
