Project Description

Wehr Constructors provided construction management, including pre-construction services, for the new replacement facility for Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford, Kentucky.  The new single-story replacement facility also included 26 licensed beds and 55,000 sq.ft., with associated access roads and parking.

The replacement hospital also included two surgery suites, five LDRPs, MRI, CT, radiology, Physical Therapy, and an outpatient medical clinic.  Two interior courtyards provide private sitting areas for patients and visitors.

Project Unique Characteristics

• Wehr, the design team, and owner, required the masonry contractor to remove all of the perimeter masonry and reinstall with the correct flashing detail at no additional expense to Fort Logan Hospital
