Beargrass Christian Church

Beargrass Christian Church Construction Project

Project Description

Construction of a 21,000 sq. ft. sanctuary and youth center. Existing school building was retro-fitted with a complete fire sprinkler system. After completion of the new sanctuary, the existing sanctuary was renovated into a fellowship hall. The project included state-of-the-art sound and video projection systems. The original church organ was removed, refurbished and reinstalled in the new sanctuary. The sanctuary included sloped seating in the round to enhance the worship experience.

The project site was adjacent to an operating day care. Wehr Constructors worked directly with the director of the facility to avoid interruption of their daily activities. The project was located on a busy thoroughfare and was backed by a residential neighborhood, none of which was impacted by construction activities. In fact, the project was completed with no accidents, on-time and within budget.
