John Gaver began work with Wehr Constructors in Brandon, Florida, in December, 1988. In 1966, he received his B.S. in Civil Engineering, as well as completing U.S. Air Force Officer Training School. Mr. Gaver is a Professional Engineer for the states of Missouri, Illinois, and Florida, where he is also a registered General Contractor; and a Certified Construction Manager. Mr. Gaver received his Masters in Business Administration in 1982, and was elected to the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honorary. Mr. Gaver is responsible for operation of the Florida office, and management of all phases of construction, including analysis of architectural plans, analysis of project costs, development of construction schedules, solution of engineering problems, and supervision of field construction.

• $1.5 M - 20 bay addition for special procedures and cardiac
• $1.5 M - 30 bed addition, 20,000 s.f., 3-story patient wing
• $2.4 M - 300-car, 5-level precast concrete parking facility
• Humana Hospital Biscayne, Biscayne, FL, $2 M - code compliance
• Humana Hospital Bennett, Plantation, FL, $2.5 M - replaced HVAC equipment & ductwork on 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors
• Humana Women's Hospital, Tampa, FL, $1.6 M - renovated 3rd floor patient area, new LDR rooms, renovated ORs
• All Children's Hospital, St. Petersburg, FL, $3.5 M - renovations to bio med, kitchen, radiology, physical & occupational therapy, laboratories, micro biology, dialysis, catheterization
• Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Miami, FL, $1 M - renovation of kitchen area, providing exhaust shafts and fire protection
• Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater, FL $1.5 M - renovated 13,500 s.f. of 4th floor of Barnard Building providing 20 ICUs with ancillary services
• $4.8 M - 43,000 s.f. new Ambulatory Care Center with ORs, recovery, labs, MRI and cath lab
